I have made a career of identifying meaningful challenges that face managers and then providing new solutions for dealing with them. My work combines highly respected academic research with practical tools for training and consulting.

Conflict Management

My longest-running interest has been in conflict management, where I have an international reputation for my research and training materials. For some time now, my other interest has been the intrinsic rewards that power employee engagement and empowerment. My book, Intrinsic Motivation at Work: What Really Drives Employee Engagement, is now out in a new, expanded edition.
